The location was good, close to both Victoria Coach Station and the train station/underground and taxi ranks, making it very accessible for all of the major tourist sites. The hotel staff were very welcoming and accommodating, and were also very knowledgeable when it came to giving directions and transport information. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean. My friend and I had a room each and we were very satified with the facilities within it, tea/coffee, telephone, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the water was hot in the shower and of a good pressure. There were free toiletries for use. We were only there for two nights and all of the linen and towels were changed each day and of good quality. The breakfast included cereals, toast, and your choice of English breakfast components, and there was plenty of it. There is no lift in the hotel, as it is an original Victorian building, but this is made known in advance. My friend and I are 70+ and managed the stairs ok. If in doubt I would suggest contacting the hotel as I am sure they will try and accommodate any mobility issues raised, if they can. The security was excellent, with minisafes in the rooms, and all of the internal doors leading to the stairs, had extra security, as well as the main outside doors. All of the staff made us feel extremely at home and there was a great atmosphere overall enjoyed with the staff and other travellers.

I had the most delightful stay at the Luna and Simone Hotel! From the moment I arrived (and saw that well-known travel writer, Rick Steves, was checking in too), I immediately felt assured that this hotel was the right choice of places to stay in London. The staff had upgraded my room, which was clean, quiet, and had everything I needed. The breakfast was excellent with many options, and everyone in the kitchen was highly accommodating to my gluten-free dietary needs. It was an easy 5-10 minute walk to Pimlico and Victoria train stations, offering access to all areas of London, and a pleasant 30-minute walk to Westminster and the Thames River boat cruises. What really made my visit though, was THE kindest and friendliest hospitality of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at…which really meant a lot to me as a solo traveler. I felt welcomed, safe, and cared for. Until next time, thank you to everyone at Luna and Simone!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s a simple place with everything you need, but what truly makes the experience special is the amazing staff. They made me feel like I was visiting their private home—so warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. From helping with metro directions to preparing a takeaway breakfast for my early flight, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The hotel is also exceptionally clean, which I really appreciated. Just a small note—depending on your floor, you might get some extra exercise! I stayed on the top floor, which turned out to be a great way to burn off my evening dinners. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Great location in a pretty neighborhood, with easy access to busline right outside and a short walk to Victoria station and walking distance to all major attractions also restaurants and supermarkets very close by. It’s a regular and a bit dated three star hotel with no extras but the friendly and helpful staff and the very clean room and bathroom and quietness was well worth a stay. Great with a ceiling fan. We got what we expected from reading previous reviews and would recommend to anyone who needs a good night sleep in that price range. The breakfast that is included was standard breakfast but served with. I wait from the again service minded and attentive staff.

The breakfast is very good! The bus line station 24 is in front of the hotel. With the bus line 24 you can go to Westminster Abbey and Big Ben and to Trafalgar Square, from where you easily continue in every direction. Don’t worry about loud noises from the street, because 90% of the traffic is electric. We liked that we can leave our luggage at arrival before check-in and also at departure after check-out. That gave us the opportunity to start immidiately at arrival our visit of the city and also to enjoy our day of departure because we had a flight in the evening. There’s a little market 30m of the hotel that works till 11pm.
